 WHICH STREAM DO I CHOOSE AFTER 10th

 

We don't know who we are at the time of admission in school with Nursery Class, till Upper KG (HKG) either teacher play with us or we play with teacher but we enjoy। Basically the purpose is not to be the academic master, school is the place where we can understand what is team work, what is friendship, how to talk, how to eat, how to walk and many more, step by step year by year उछलते कूदते ,

नाचते गाते, मस्ती करते, रोते हुए या रुलाते हुए हम Class 5 तक पहुंच जाते है इस समय तक हम अपने आप को एक छोटे बच्चे की तरह ही देखते है । 

फिर समय आता है जब हमारा प्रमोशन हो जाता है हम Primary से Middle मै promote  हो जाते है।  मन मे पहली बार लगता है की अब हम बड़े हो गए है , समाजधारी बढ़ती जाती है, शरारते भी अपना रूप धारण कर लती है , कही न कही  पढ़ाई के प्रति घंभीरता भी आ जाती है। रिजल्ट की चिंता भी सताने लग जाती है , प्रतिस्पर्धा की भावना भी पैदा हो जाती है 

और फिर promotion  होता है Middle  से  secondary  मे अब हम अपना कदम class 9th  मे बढ़ाते है  जहा हम समजदार   हो जाते है  वो जो discipline  हमने आज तक सीखा है उसे नजरअंदाज करने लग जाते है, क्यूंकि अब हम बड़े हो गए है।  बहुत बार बार बार यद् दिलाया जाता है की पड़ लो अगले साल बोर्ड एग्जाम है कैसे पास करोगे लकिन हम वो परीक्षा भी क्लियर कर लेते है । 

The purpose of writing this article is to make you students easy in selection of stream after 10th When you join school back to class XI , the major question come "The selection of Stream" Being a CBSE school principal i noticed few students starts with science then switch over to commerce or vice-versa

..why why this confusion is there… 

Means you are not set to your goal. U have not decided what to do, where to go after XII…. 

इस का मतलब हुआ कि कॉमर्स क्लास के टीचर अच्छा पढ़ाते है तो कॉमर्स मे या साइंस टीचर अच्छा पढ़ाते है तो साइंस ...

Or you are choosing the subject because your friend is there….. 

If you want to success then remember one thing …..

Don’t do this mistake….

Never give the remote of your life changing decision in others hand, because you should live the life you want to live , not the other want you to live, so set the goal and take your own decision.  

सब से पहले हम अपना लक्ष्य निर्धारित करे फिर उसे प्राप्त करने की यात्रा प्राम्भ करते है ,

This point of decision after 9th passed has a long lasting impact on your future.

It is one of the important milestones in every student’s life. Also, it is a turning point and a base for further studies and career options. The choices made after 10th standard influence the further decisions that you have to make. In fact, right after 10th, you made to decide the next course of action, in short, you must get first hand experience in decision making; Welcome to Adulthood!

If you will not select the stream with goal and of your interest, many confusion will always strike in your mind like :

• Should I continue with Science and opt for a B.Sc. degree?

• Should I switch to Commerce?

• Should I opt for a three-year regular course?

• Should I go for a correspondence degree?

• Should I go for professional careers such as CA, CS or Journalism?

• Should I change the board State, CBSE, ICSE

• Do I need to go for coaching ..is it right time or its little early?

• Is private school better or govt school

Here I am trying to help you for subject selection :

Basically after X the options available are  :

To continue for XI and XII 

    There are Three Screams : Science, Commerce and Humanities

To move after X for professions we have : 

    1. Polytechnic 

        (Mech, Comp Sc, Civil, IT, Automobile, Electronics, Communication, Bio-tech)

    2.  ITI 

        (Fitter, comp, civil (Draftsman) Mechanical

    3  Paramedical 

        (Health Inspector, Sanitary Inspector()

    4  Short term courses 

        (DTP, Tally, Internet, webdesignin…)

Here we will discuss to continue with XI and XII..

Mainly there are three streams :

1. Science:

If your are creative, wants to explore the world, have interest in surrounding technical activities. Then science has many respective and highest career options after 12th. It opens up the career option majorly in Engineering and medical.

If technology fascinates you and you have a flair for numbers, then taking science after 10th would be a wise option. 

- You can opt for Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM).

- If you want to make a mark for yourself in the medical field, you can opt for Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology (PCM-B).

- Now there are many students who don’t like Maths. Either they are afraid of Maths or Maths doesn’t interest them. Don’t worry, if you want to become a doctor, then knowing Maths is not necessary. You can easily opt for Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB).

There are multiple career options available for science stream after 10th class.

*(Mostly schools has these Additional subject Physical Education / Hindi/ computer Science) 

2. . Commerce :

Do you like numbers? Did you enjoy studying economics in 10th? Does finance fascinate you? If your answer is yes then Commerce is for you. The core subjects of commerce are – Business Economics, Accountancy, Business Study and Business Law. Not just these, but you will have exposure to income tax, accounting, marketing, and other related subjects. And of course, the language subject will be compulsory.

Career prospects in Commerce are huge just as Science. A student can go for a career or further studies in Management (BBA/BMS), Economics, Actuarial Science (analysis of risk across various fields. Ex, insurance, business, finance, and healthcare), Chartered Accountancy, Finance, Bank PO, Cost and Management Accounting, Stockbroking, Statistics, and many more. There are lots of thriving options on hand.

3. Humanities/Arts :

Arts/Humanities – Least Preferred but off-beat and exciting

Though this stream is least preferred it offers some exciting and interesting career options. All this time arts was looked down from the rest two streams but it is finally changing for good.

With a great number of choices to study, arts offers a wide range of options that are no less in comparison to science and commerce. Students can study sociology, history, literature, psychology, political science, philosophy, economics, etc along with compulsory language subject.

Career scope of Arts is diverse. Students can further, specialize in a field on their choice (based on the subjects they studied in Class XII) or start their career in Teaching, Writing, Journalism, Psychology, Literature, Fine arts, Political Science, Economics, etc.

So at last I must say lets start the journey….

बिना गंतव्य के यात्रा पे चलना यात्रा नहीं भटकाव कहलाता है .. हम यह समझे हमारा गंतव्य क्या है (लक्ष्य क्या है.. Target – Goal – Destination kya hai)

A goal of life is like a wooden lob, if it is not decided then your life will swim into the direction of wave। 

जीवन का लक्ष्य लकड़ी के लट्ठे के जैसा है अगर लक्ष्य निर्धारित नहीं है तो यह लकड़ी का लट्ठा उस दिशा मे जाएगा

जिस दिशा मे लहेरे उसे बहा कर ले जायँगी इसलिए लक्षय निर्धारित करो और समुद्र की लहेरो को चिर कर अपने गंतव्य पर पहुंचने वाला जहाज बनो ।  

So my dear students….

आप कभी भी समुद्र की लहरों पर तैरने वाला लट्ठा मत बनिए ....बल्कि उन लेहरो को चीर कर चलने वाला जहाज बनिए ।  फैसला आप का।  क्या बनाना है ।
